I love this eye mask; prior to this I had a (very soft, ngl) silk sleep mask that has a very poor fit at the nose and squishes my eyelids/lashes.
This thing blocks light out much better; it still gaps a very little bit around my nose when I lay on my side but not so much that I notice through closed eyelids. I try to keep my room very dark anyways because I live on a street with cars driving by and lots of streetlights. I also sleep on my stomach and the low-profile style of this is pretty easy to lay on; a little bit of adjusting when laying my head down but usually comfortable.
One thing that I would suggest an improvement on is the Velcro strip; It has squished and nearly scratched my ear a couple of times, I woke up with a sore ear once or twice. I think maybe making the strip a bit smaller or at any rate, further from the edge of the fabric so that doesn't happen as easily. Also, perhaps making a design with two straps for maximum adjustability and fit comfort. My silk mask had two tying strips (one at the brow bone and one further down on the cheek) and it stayed put a bit better. Overall though, the Bon Charge Low Profile Contoured Sleep Mask is a definite upgrade and has improved my sleep quality for sure!
