About the role

The Ecommerce Trading Manager will take ownership of BON CHARGE’s global ecommerce trading calendar, ensuring seamless execution of all promotional activities, product launches, and sales initiatives across key markets. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role will act as the linchpin between performance marketing, content, creative, operations, and customer service — ensuring that every campaign goes live on time, on brand, and without errors.

You will be responsible for managing pricing and promotion setup across Shopify, overseeing digital shelf readiness, and ensuring all customer touchpoints (from banners to discount codes to CX macros) are aligned before go-live. You will also serve as the internal owner of ecommerce operations and trading performance — proactively identifying risks, resolving blockers, and optimising for daily conversion and sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the global ecommerce trading calendar in collaboration with the CMO, ensuring all promotions, launches, and price changes are mapped and executed accurately
  • Be the point person for Shopify discount code and pricing setup — verifying accuracy across markets (US, UK, AU, CA, EU, UAE and more) and coordinating all associated content, banners, and messaging updates
  • Partner with marketing, creative, content, and CS to ensure site readiness ahead of campaigns — banners, PDPs, collections, pricing, and legal compliance
  • Oversee testing and QA of all sale mechanics ahead of go-live (e.g. discount codes, product tagging, UX flows, banners)
  • Work with performance and CRM teams to ensure messaging, timing, and promotional logic are aligned across Meta, Google, Klaviyo, and affiliates
  • Monitor daily sales, conversion rates, and site performance during all major campaigns — identifying issues and raising red flags early
  • Maintain and optimise product catalogue and merchandising strategy — ensuring top products are highlighted, back-in-stock alerts are actioned, and trading levers are pulled where needed
  • Act as a liaison between marketing and operations to ensure stock availability and pricing alignment across platforms
  • Coordinate retrospectives post-campaign to identify execution wins and improvement areas
  • Support in building out ecommerce SOPs and training documentation to ensure continuity as the team scales

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability in ecommerce, trading, or digital marketing roles within high-growth DTC brands or retail environments
  • Hands-on experience managing Shopify (discount codes, pricing, collections, tagging, basic merchandising)
  • Strong operational mindset with high attention to detail — especially around campaign launches, pricing accuracy, and promotional setup
  • Experience QA-ing ecommerce sites before launch and identifying potential failure points before they go live
  • Understanding of the broader digital marketing ecosystem — including performance media, CRM, and CX flows
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Data-literate: confident reviewing daily performance metrics, creating reports and acting on trading insights
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve quickly
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to take ownership when things go wrong (and right)
  • Understanding of SEO and CRO, with experience working alongside specialists to improve web performance
  • Proven ability to brief, test, and optimise creative for paid and lifecycle campaigns
  • Strong collaborator and communicator, able to work cross-functionally across creative, brand, PR and web teams
  • A builder: excited to create new systems, introduce better processes, and coach a growing team
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills — able to balance deadlines, detail and agility in a fast-moving environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with international ecommerce (e.g. managing store versions by region/currency)
  • Working knowledge of platforms like Klaviyo, GA4, Asana, and Slack
  • Prior work in wellness, beauty, or lifestyle brands
  • Experience launching global sales or promotional events in Shopify Plus
